Starting a pool with your friends is free

A pool is free until it passes 20 members or 250 listings. After that, it's a flat $4.99 a month, and your first month is always free.

You can add a card any time, even while the pool is still free. If the pool shrinks back under both numbers, we stop charging it.

Any admin can take the payment over from whoever has it.

Borrowing is free and so is chatting, and we don't charge extra per tool or per person.

A pool of four hundred pays the same $4.99 as a pool of twenty.

Joining a pool is free. You only pay to run one.

Each pool can only have one location.

If you've got so many people or tools that you need to be more specific, then you'll need to make multiple pools.

But I think you'll agree that it'll be a good problem to have.

ToolPool.Garden is built by IllumAlign LLC, a fully bootstrapped company that is financially responsible.

Being private and bootstrapped means there are no shareholders or big investors, so there's no one pushing us to charge you more later on.

If we ever raise prices, it'll be because we have to. We'd rather see as many pools as we can support rather than a few.
