What we aim for

We build ToolPool.Garden to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means the site should work with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, at 200% zoom, with animations turned off, and without relying on colour to tell you anything.

Some of that is built in. Every page has a skip link and landmarks, form errors are attached to their fields, the photo grid can be reordered without a mouse, and there is a play/pause control in the top bar that stops everything on the page from moving.

Where we are not there yet

We would rather tell you than let you find out. These are the parts we know about:

• The map at /garden is a third-party map component. Its pins can be reached with a keyboard, but the list view at /garden/list is the better route and carries the same pools.
• The feedback board on our roadmap page and the email sign-up form are embedded from other companies, and we do not control their markup.
• We have not yet tested the whole app with a screen reader end to end. Our checks so far have been against the code and against automated rules.

If something here got in your way, please write to us. Say what you were trying to do, what page you were on, and what you were using to browse if you know it. We read every one of these.

We are a small team, so we cannot promise a fix date. We can promise you will get a real reply from a person, and that anything blocking someone from using the app goes to the front of the queue.
