Cheapie Rigol scope from Amazon. Comes with power cable, two probes, instructions, etc. Haven't used it in a few years so I'm a little rusty with driving it, but works well.
Generates sine or square waves from 20 Hz - 150 kHz up to roughly 8V P-P, runs on 9V battery. Alligator clips.
Titanium Easy Flux 125 from Harbor Freight. Light-duty welder for thin steel plate, welds are dirtier than MIG or TIG but doesn't require shielding gas and can be used outdoors on a windy day.

For adjusting the truss rod/neck relief after frets have been installed. Notches spaced for standard 34" scale length (Fender Precision/Jazz Bass, etc.). To save a few bucks I marked up a heavy aluminum T-square from Harbor Freight with a Sharpie and then attacked it with an angle grinder and sandpaper flap disk. Lives at Casa Del Gamp
Modified Harbor Freight pressurized paint sprayer. It no longer will spray paint, but hook up your compressor, put your silicone molds filled with two-part urethane inside, batten down the hatches and start the air. Run it to about 60 psi and it should hold it for a few hours so your castings will come out bubble-free.
